ecosystems of care
How to weave relational webs of support as we tend to ourselves, care for one another, and cultivate the conditions needed to create and sustain a more liberated world
A FREE 2-HOUR WORKSHOP
MARCH 22, 2026 @ 2 PM EST
I see you trying to hold it all together, beloved.
You care so much about so many things…
The well-being and safety of others. (In) justice and liberation. The future of humanity.
You’re deeply devoted to your work in the world and you’re exhausted from carrying so much.
You show up for the people you serve and the causes you care about with compassion and commitment, yet rarely feel you can turn to others in times of need.
You long for genuine connection and community with like-minded folks, but spaces that truly create a sense of intimacy, trust, and relational care can feel hard to come by.
You’re holding everyone and everything…but who or what is holding you?
Many of us have internalized the belief that doing good in the world requires self-sacrifice, that caring for ourselves amidst so much suffering is self-indulgent.
But self-extractive patterns are not sustainable—not for you, and not for the people you’re here to serve.
The weight of the world is a lot to hold.
We can't (nor should we) hold it alone.
All of us can do something.
But none of us can do everything.
The revolution requires reciprocity and relationship.
What might change if we truly allowed ourselves to be resourced by community?
What might be possible if we actually allow ourselves to be held by reciprocal, relational webs of support?
You want to…
Make a meaningful impact and leave a legacy for liberation, without collapsing under the weight of a world that’s too often too heavy to hold.
Lead communities, movements, and social change rooted in care, without unconsciously recreating colonial and capitalistic patterns of urgency, extraction, and exploitation.
Show up to your world-changing work with clarity, courage, and conviction, without falling into saviorism, martyrdom, or hyperindividualism.
Create communities where power and responsibility are shared, without reinforcing isolation and loneliness.
Weave relational networks that support your people, without sacrificing your own wellbeing.
Feel genuinely supported, resourced, and held in your work, without spiraling in guilt and shame.
YOU’RE INVITED TO
ecosystems of care
A free 2-hour experience designed to support you in unraveling deeply entrenched entanglements with saviorism and martyrdom while building your capacity to cultivate the reciprocal, relational support that makes liberation work effective and sustainable.
Together, we'll unpack how hyper individualism shapes our movements for change, reconnect with our human need for interdependence, and explore how we can begin to weave wider webs of solidarity and support in our lives and in our leadership.
"A truly amazing experience. Lena took me on a journey that was mind blowing. Uncovering my past, memories I have long forgotten but perhaps not fully cleared. Lena helped me see patterns that serve me and gently highlighted the patterns that perhaps hold me back from being fully aligned with my purposeful path. If you get a chance to work with this extraordinary woman DO IT!” —K.B.
“I’ve been doing a lot of self work over the last year and what Lena was able to help me realize within a few hours was extremely impressive. I was actually shocked how quickly she could frame up some deep-rooted themes I had been struggling to identify on my own. I wish I had this experience a lot sooner. —W.C.
Hi! I’M LENA PAPADOPOULOS.
One of the most difficult initiations of my life has been learning how to let myself be supported.
Growing up in a volatile, unpredictable, and abusive home, I learned early on that the safest way to survive was to become fiercely independent and self-reliant.
In my context, receiving came with strings attached—manipulation, control, and consequences. Needing other people was literally dangerous.
I also learned to be hypervigilant. If I didn’t prioritize everyone else’s wants and needs above my own, I would be punished.
After 15+ years working with colleagues and clients who have big hearts and a deep desire to serve others, I’ve seen these patterns play out again and again.
So often we devote ourselves to helping others because there was no one there to help us.
It’s a beautiful attempt to right the wrongs of our past, but it too often comes at the expense of ourselves.
The work we do in the world really matters,
but we are not here to single-handedly save it,
nor do we have to martyr ourselves for causes we care about.
We are here to create a world where responsibility is shared, reciprocity is valued, and diverse gifts come together to build something none of us could ever accomplish on our own.
That’s why I’ve created this workshop.
Because I believe big-hearted, service-oriented visionaries and changemakers deserve to be held in the same way they hold everyone else.
“I didn't expect to go so deep! Lena clearly understands this subject matter on a deep level and has a highly personal approach. She brought my hidden challenges to light in a natural and non-judgemental way. I gained a deeper understanding of myself and I feel empowered to make changes within me that will ultimately make the world a better place for others.” —B.D.
“This is for you if you’re ready for a different perspective when looking in the mirror. To confront the parts of yourself you may not be aware of and the parts you may not understand. If you want to make a difference in the world and for the people that surround you.” —M.F.
